GOALS
- To provide for each woman of HBC support, understanding, and guidance toward becoming the woman God wants her to be.
- To provide areas of involvement for the women of HBC where they may use their spiritual gifts in ministry to others, thereby encouraging their spiritual growth and fulfillment within the church body.
- To see church families strengthened because of the spiritual maturity and unity of the women of HBC.
- To reach out to the women of our community.
BIBLE STUDY
The foundation for a dynamic spiritual life begins with time spent in the Word. Women’s Bible Study provides an opportunity to strengthen your personal walk as you dig deeply into the Scriptures. During small group time, you will get to know other women as you discuss the lesson together and spend time in prayer. Why not invest two hours each Tuesday morning or evening in an in-depth study of the Bible? It could change your life.
WOMEN’S ELECTIVES
Of all the Life Training Electives presented on Wednesday evenings, these are exclusively for women. Through topical studies, Scriptural applications, and personal illustrations, you’ll receive encouragement for the tough times and hope to face the future. We’ve all been there; let’s learn from one another.
WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
Our Women's Conference is offered every three years and provides women with an opportunity to come away from the busyness of life to deepen their relationship with God and other women. We offer an atmosphere that is rich in God's Word, friendships, and relaxation, giving them a place where they can hear from the Lord personally and respond to Him, experiencing His presence intimately. We encourage and equip women to be fervent followers of Jesus Christ and allow them the privilege to engage with and minister to others. Our desire is that by the end of the conference that each woman would have become more passionate in her love for Jesus Christ as His devoted disciple. APPLES OF GOLD
This is a six-week nurturing program for women based on Titus 2:3-5. The primary purpose is for (6) older godly women to nurture (6) younger women in the Word of God, encouraging them to obey it. The second purpose is practical application, learning cooking; relational; homemaking; and hospitality skills. Relationships are formed as these women seek to obey the Lord and experience His peace and joy in their lives.
